The women's Giro dell'Emilia is starting to get itself a solid list of winners in its relatively short lifetime. The Tour de Bretagne Féminin has been run since the 1980s, albeit with some interruptions. Catherine Marsal won a pair of the early editions, before Jeannie Longo unsurprisingly won too. It was German rider Hanka Kupfernagel who was the first to win 3 editions of the race though. She was joined on 3 victories by Marina Jaunatre in the mid-2000s. Brit Emma Pooley won in 2008, taking 2 stages along the way.

Liege Bastogne Liege Femmes is another relatively new race on the women’s calendar. First held in 2017, it gives riders the chance to cover roads raced by the men’s peloton in one of their monuments. Although the race is called Liege Bastogne Liege still, the women’s race starts in Bastogne and before heading to Liege.

The Setmana Ciclista Valenciana has been a UCI race since 2017 and for most of its history has been a 2.2 race. It was elevated to 2.1 status in 2021. Usually held in February, 2021 was an exception because of Covid as the race was held in May.
