Team Picnic PostNL have confirmed two major signings for their women’s team ahead of the 2026 season, adding Irish sprinter Mia Griffin and French climber Dilyxine Miermont. Griffin joins on a contract running through to 2028, while Miermont will stay with the team until at least the end of 2027. Both riders arrive following standout seasons in 2025, each celebrating the first professional victories of their careers.

Griffin, who transitioned from the track to the road, enjoyed a breakthrough year that included a stage win at the Vuelta a El Salvador, the Irish national road race title, and consistent top finishes at WorldTour level. A former track specialist, she previously won bronze in the individual pursuit at the 2020 U23 European Championships and another bronze with Ireland’s team pursuit squad a year later. Having made her WorldTour debut in 2023, she gained further experience this season by completing both the Giro d’Italia Women and the Tour de France Femmes.

The 26-year-old described Team Picnic PostNL as one of the most professional environments in the peloton and said she is eager to learn from her new teammates while continuing to refine her sprinting skills. “I’d describe myself as a punchy sprinter,” she said. “The team’s structure, organisation and focus really appealed to me. I’m excited to contribute in fast-finisher races and grow within such a strong group.”

Head coach Rudi Kemna said Griffin’s signing was part of a long-term development plan. “Mia has already shown she can challenge the best,” he explained. “She’ll get the structure, time and racing experience she needs to evolve into a dedicated finisher capable of winning big sprints.”

Miermont, meanwhile, adds climbing strength and depth to the team’s general classification ambitions. The 25-year-old French rider impressed throughout 2025 with victory at the Grand Prix Presidente, second on stage 2 of the Giro d’Italia Women, and top ten finishes overall at both Itzulia Women and the Tour of Norway. Her strong start to the season included seventh place on Jebel Hafeet in the UAE Tour and eighth at the Cadel Evans Road Race, confirming her ability to perform on varied terrain.

Miermont said that joining Team Picnic PostNL feels like a natural progression in her career. “It’s a team that’s ambitious and races at the front. I’d describe myself as a punchy climber, and I’m excited to see how far I can go while helping the team chase big results.”

Kemna said the team sees her as a long-term project. “Dilyxine is a natural climber with the potential to become a GC contender. She’s still developing but her results already show flashes of real class. Next season she’ll get the chance to learn more in support roles and in selective races that suit her strengths.”

Both riders secured their first UCI wins this season and arrive at Team Picnic PostNL with momentum and ambition. With Griffin’s speed and Miermont’s climbing ability, the team strengthens its balance across the race calendar, combining proven structure with a clear focus on nurturing emerging talent for the seasons ahead.
