Three days of intense racing during the Bloiezone Fryslân Tour

An inaugral time trial

This round began with an inaugural 14.4km time trial where the girls put in an honorable performance. Indeed, Séverine Eraud finished 41st and 2nd in France.

Not spared but proud!

The day after the time trial, our 6 riders set off for a 135 km stage in line between Eastermar and Bakkeveen. Arianna Pruisscher had the ambition to achieve a big coup that day, at her home in the Netherlands. Unfortunately, after being present all the race at the front of the peloton, following the good curbs and dodging the numerous falls, she will be the victim of a mechanical incident at the worst of times. Then, when returning to the peloton, she will use the car shelter for too long, which will cost her her disqualification. Anastasiya Kolesava, victim of a fall at the start of the stage, will carry out a beautiful solo raid in the last kilometers while standing up to a peloton launched in its preparation for the sprint.

To end this Bloeizone Fryslân Tour, a stage was looming with a completely flat profile. From the start of the stage, Maéva Squiban, victim of a mechanical problem, was forced to change bikes twice. Like Anastasiya the day before, she will show a reaction of pride by taking the breakaway made up of 6 then 3 competitors. Finally resumed, the peloton will play for victory in the massive sprint where all the girls arrived for the victory.

General classification

  • 61th Anastasya Kolesava
  • 66th India Grangier
  • 83th Maeva Squiban
