In the second stage of the Volta Comunitat Valenciana Fèmines Liv Racing Xstra tried its luck in the beginning of the stage.
Several of our riders tried to make a move in the first kilometers, but the peloton reacted quickly and reeled them all in. Jeanne Korevaar tried it with a solo attempt, still without any luck. Marta Jaskulska was active in the following part of the stage. The Polish Liv Racing Xstra rider covered some attacks and managed to hold on in the first group for a long time.
“After all her attempts Marta got tired and she had to let go the first group with 30 kilometres to go. Today the team moved well together. We tried to be in the breakaway and will try again for sure tomorrow”, Giorgia Bronzini said after the stage.
