We’re halfway there!

The fourth stage was a mix of unpaved gravel roads with rocky gravel and steep climbs. It resulted in a battle in which Julia managed to keep her second place in the youth classification.

Before the stage, Julia said: “It’s my goal to fight for the white jersey, as this stage suits me”.

After three minutes from the stage winner, Julia crossed the finish line nearby the current leader in that classification, Julie de Wilde. The backlog is unchanged and still 16 seconds.

โ€œIt was a good dayโ€, concludes Jolien D’hoore after the race. โ€œWe are saved from any mechanical issues, thanks to our technical staff. In addition, Julia was able to defend her place in the standings well. Letโ€™s see what tomorrow will bringโ€.

The fifth stage of the Tour de France Femmes is also the longest stage of this stage race, with a total length of 175.6 kilometers.
