Sarah Gigante is an Australian professional cyclist who rides for AG Insurance-Soudal. Career overview
Gigante became Australian road race champion at just 18 in 2019 before winning consecutive national time-trial titles in 2020 and 2021. After joining Movistar, she claimed her first professional victory at Emakumeen Nafarroako Women’s Elite Classics in 2022. A move to AG Insurance-Soudal brought overall victory and a Willunga Hill stage win at the 2024 Tour Down Under. Gigante reached another level in 2025, winning two stages and the mountains classification at the Giro d’Italia Women while finishing third overall, then taking sixth at the Tour de France Femmes. A training crash after the Tour caused a fractured femur and kept her out of competition for more than a year. She returned to racing in September 2026 and has extended her AG Insurance-Soudal contract through 2027.
