Career overview
Preen came into cycling after equestrian sport and triathlon, developing into one of South Africa’s strongest multi-discipline riders across road, mountain bike and gravel. She has won South African national road race titles, South African time-trial titles and African road race and gravel championship titles, while also building a strong record in mountain bike stage racing. Her international road experience has included European racing with Torelli and Freewheel Cycology, but many of her strongest results have come on African terrain. In 2026, Preen continued to build her gravel profile, winning the Khomas100 UCI Gravel World Series race and African gravel title for a second consecutive year.
