French rider Justine Gegu will join the professional peloton next season, having signed with Winspace Orange Seal for 2026. The 26-year-old steps up after several years in the Nationale 1 ranks, most recently riding for Team Elles.
Gegu made headlines last month with a bronze medal in the French National Championships (amateur category), and has shown consistency on the UCI circuit throughout 2025. She finished 6th overall at the Région Pays de la Loire Tour and claimed 10th at the Classique Morbihan – results that helped seal her move into the pro ranks.
“I’m really excited to join Winspace Orange Seal for the 2026 season and to take my first steps in the professional peloton,” Gegu said. “After several intense and formative years in the French Nationale 1, I’m really excited to take on this new challenge and keep progressing at the highest level. I want to thank Team Elles for all these wonderful years that helped me grow both as an athlete and as a person. A new adventure begins in 2026 – I can’t wait to discover this new world, contribute to the team’s goals, and fight for this new jersey with heart and the drive to always give my best.”
Gegu becomes the first new rider announced for the 2026 roster and joins Karolina Perekitko, who recently extended with the team, as the second confirmed name for next season.
