Fiona Mangan and Natalie Quinn will remain with Mayenne Monbana My Pie for the 2027 season after the French Women’s ProTeam confirmed one-year contract extensions for both riders. The announcement completes the team’s roster for next year, retaining two riders who played prominent roles during its 2026 campaign.
Ireland’s Mangan, 30, has been among Mayenne’s most reliable finishers in one-day races, taking third at the Navarra Women’s Elite Classic and fifth at the Région Pays de la Loire Tour this season. Quinn, a 24-year-old American who joined at the beginning of 2026, has made her mark through breakaways and a series of competitive results on difficult courses.
Both riders were also part of Mayenne’s Tour de France Femmes squad in July and August. Keeping them provides some continuity as the organisation incorporates six new signings for 2027, including several young riders making the move into the professional ranks.

Fiona Mangan rewarded after strong 2026 results
Mangan’s third place at the Navarra Women’s Elite Classic in May was one of her strongest performances of the season. She finished alongside race winner Cat Ferguson and runner-up Ruby Roseman-Gannon after a selective finale, holding her position against riders from some of the leading WorldTour teams.
The result followed fifth place at the Région Pays de la Loire Tour and ninth at Omloop van het Hageland, showing that the Irish rider could be competitive both on rolling French roads and in the more demanding Belgian one-day races. She also finished fourth in the Irish national road race championship, having won the national road and time-trial titles in 2024.
Mangan’s strength is not confined to finishing positions. She was involved in the breakaway on the Tour de France Femmes stage to Mont Ventoux, taking advantage of one of the biggest days on the women’s racing calendar to put the team’s colours at the front. At the end of the road season, she returned to the track for the World Championships in Shanghai with Ireland.
The extension means Mangan can build on the familiarity developed with the French squad rather than begin again in a new environment. In the team’s announcement, she said she valued the group’s fighting spirit and the motivation of her team-mates, adding that she still had more to show on the bike.
That ambition is understandable given how close she came to a major result at Navarra. Mayenne have benefited from her willingness to race aggressively, but she has also demonstrated the speed to compete for a high placing when the strongest riders arrive together at a reduced finish.
Natalie Quinn earns second season after attacking performances
Quinn joined Mayenne Monbana My Pie at the start of 2026 and has earned another year after a season in which she repeatedly contributed to the team’s attacking approach. Her best results included ninth at La Périgord Ladies, 11th at the Tour of Portugal and 12th at the United States national road race championship.
Her performance at the Classic Lorient Agglomération in Plouay provided a useful example of what she offers. Quinn joined the early breakaway in a demanding WorldTour race featuring almost 3,000 metres of climbing and helped the group establish a lead approaching eight minutes. She was among the last attackers to be caught, with around 20 kilometres remaining, and eventually finished 42nd.
Quinn was also active at Dwars door Vlaanderen, where she joined a breakaway before returning to a reduced group after the escape had been caught. These appearances did not bring a headline result, but they helped a developing ProTeam gain exposure against stronger squads and gave its riders experience of making decisive moves at the highest level.
Her contract renewal suggests Mayenne see value in that approach as well as in her results. Quinn said she was excited to remain with the team, pointing to the understanding developed among its riders during 2026 and her belief in what the group could achieve next season.
Mayenne complete 2027 roster after busy transfer period
Team manager Jean-Christophe Barbotin said the two extensions completed Mayenne Monbana My Pie’s line-up for 2027. He highlighted the experience that Mangan and Quinn can bring during the coming campaign, particularly as several younger recruits settle into the demands of racing professionally.
The French team have already been active in the transfer market. Italian prospect Giada Silo is arriving from UAE’s development structure, while Nikola Nosková has agreed to join from Cofidis. Swedish champion Clara Lundmark and French rider Heïdi Gaugain are also among the new additions.
The organisation has continued to retain riders from its existing squad. Alice Coutinho and Constance Valentin have both extended, giving the team additional continuity after its first full season at Women’s ProTeam level. The 2027 group will therefore combine returning riders with newcomers who have different levels of experience.
For Mangan and Quinn, the opportunity is to translate their 2026 performances into more consistent results while continuing to help the team take the initiative in difficult races. Their willingness to enter breakaways was a recurring feature of Mayenne’s first ProTeam campaign, but the next step will be converting that visibility into stronger finishing positions.
With both riders committed for another season, Mayenne can now turn its attention to the winter and to preparing a team that has already shown it is prepared to attack against WorldTour opposition.
