6th place for Emilia Fahlin at Gent-Wevelgem

6th yesterday on Gent-Wevelgem, Emilia Fahlin looks back on her race and the group’s collective work.

“It was a difficult edition of Gent-Wevelgem this year! With strong winds and most of the course with a crosswind, it was a nervous and choppy race! But the team helped me a lot to stay calm and keep a good position when needed, and in the end, I thank them all for their trust and support today, it really cheered me up, because I had never had great success in this race before. Cecilie worked really hard at the end to close the breakaway gap and at the end, I had a good sprint, although I could have done better for sure. But I am proud that we are in the race, that we are fighting until the end and that the result is not so bad. “
