In Bagnoles de l’Orne, Amandine Fouquenet notched her third victory of the winter in the Coupe de France.

On the line

« I’m always happy to win, this is my third victory of the season in this competition. On this Bagnoles de l’Orne route, it was a bit tougher physically given the proposed route which was both physical and technical. I am therefore satisfied with this success. I had a real battle with Perrine Clauzel, especially around the time of my puncture. But I didn’t give in. The Coupe de France has become an objective and my ambition is to keep the leader’s jersey for this event. This is the first season that I have won so much in cyclocross and I hope to continue to do so. I don’t want to disappoint with my French Champion jersey, but I don’t put the pressure on myself either. I’m not approaching competitions the same way this year, I’m going without pressure, with all the staff everything is going well, I’m calm when I start »
