Career overview
Niedermaier came through Canyon SRAM Generation before stepping up to the WorldTeam, quickly becoming one of Germany’s strongest young stage-race riders. A former ski mountaineer, she won the Tour Cycliste Féminin International de l’Ardèche overall in 2022, then made a major WorldTour breakthrough by winning stage 5 of the 2023 Giro d’Italia Donne. That same season brought the under-23 world time-trial title, under-23 European time-trial silver, the German under-23 time-trial title and the Tour de l’Avenir Femmes youth classification. She later won the Giro d’Italia Women young rider classification in 2025 and extended with Canyon SRAM zondacrypto through 2028.
