Career overview
Halbwachs has been one of Mauritius’s most successful cyclists, racing across road, mountain bike and major international events. She represented Mauritius at the Olympic Games in 2008 and 2012, and built a long record at African level. Her major results include the African Championships time-trial title in 2006, road race and time-trial gold at the 2017 African Road Championships, and repeated Mauritian national road race and time-trial titles. Later in her career, she continued to compete strongly off-road, including African mountain bike championship success and regular international racing into the 2020s.
