The Ardennes week comes to an end on Sunday with Liège-Bastogne-Liège (141 km). These riders will wear the purple Cuore outfit: Sabrina Stultiens, Jeanne Korevaar, Soraya Paladin, Marta Jaskulska, Valerie Demey and Pauliena Rooijakkers.
“Liège-Bastogne-Liège is one of the bigger racesthis spring. A very tough one too with long, brutal climbs in quick succession. We hope that we can really race again and prevail with the strong riders. We have often enough riders at the front. Now it is important that we are able to take advantage of the numerical situation”, says sport director Lars Boom.
“Especially Soraya Paladin should be able to handle this classic. She already finished fourth here once. Soraya is eager to get a good result again, she has been riding excellently for weeks. It’s up to the team to give her maximum support. In addition, we have a number of outsiders, such as Jeanne Korevaar.”
