Another race on Belgian soil. Liv Racing will be at the start of Dwars door Vlaanderen next Wednesday. The selection consists of Alison Jackson, Jeanne Korevaar, Evy Kuijpers, Sofia Bertizzolo, Soraya Paladin and Marta Jaskulska.
Sports director Lars Boom: “Dwars door Vlaanderen is a completely different course from last weekend’s Gent-Wevelgem. It is a race that has even more the characteristics of a typical Flemish classic due to the cobblestones and tough climbs. We want to race as a team and thus create a good situation for ourselves. Last Sunday we proved again that we are in good shape, so I expect something from this group.”
Alison Jackson and Sofia Bertizzolo both unfortunately crashed in Gent-Wevelgem. However, their participation in Dwars door Vlaanderen is not at risk.
