Career overview
Alvarado has been one of the defining cyclocross riders of her generation, combining technical skill, explosive acceleration and consistency across the major winter series. Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in the Netherlands, she won the elite cyclocross world title in 2020, after earlier European under-23 titles in 2018 and 2019. She has also won the elite European cyclocross title, Dutch national cyclocross titles and overall series honours across the World Cup, Superprestige and X2O Trophy. On the road, Alvarado has raced within the Fenix structure, balancing selective road appearances with her cyclocross focus, and continued with Fenix-Premier Tech in 2026.
