Chloé Dygert has confirmed her commitment to Canyon SRAM, extending her contract with the team for another two years. The American rider will remain with the World Tour team until 2026, following a successful period where she overcame several injury and illness setbacks.

Dygert shared her thoughts on the decision, reflecting on the unwavering support she received from Canyon SRAM throughout the challenging moments of her career. “There are a number of reasons why I chose Canyon SRAM four years ago, and there are even more reasons now for me to stay,” she explained. “There aren’t many teams, if any, that would stand by a rider’s side at their weakest on and off the bike, and Canyon SRAM has done that for me countless times. I am privileged to have the opportunity to remain a part of the team.”

Her time with the team has seen her expand her successes, achieving podium finishes and victories in some of the biggest stage races, including the Giro d’Italia Women, Vuelta España, Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift and Ford RideLondon Classique. Dygert also secured a bronze medal in the individual time trial at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, alongside a gold in the team pursuit with Team USA.

The team environment has been crucial to her development, something Dygert acknowledges. “Our team chemistry and how we all can work together on and off the bike make being teammates in the most crucial moments and races of the season possible,” she said, adding that she was “excited to continue working with and for our team.” For Dygert, the opportunity to pursue both individual victories and support her teammates is vital to her continued motivation. “We make each other stronger,” she remarked.

Looking ahead, Dygert has clear priorities for the upcoming seasons. Her focus remains firmly on maintaining her health, something she considers key to any future achievements. “First and foremost, my main goal is to remain healthy. If I can maintain my health, I believe most anything the team and I create as a goal can be accomplished,” she stated. Her commitment to the team is unwavering, summing it up with: “The team says jump; I’ll ask how high.”

Dygert will compete in the UCI Elite ITT World Championships on Sunday, 22nd September, in Zurich, Switzerland, aiming to defend her rainbow title.
