Heidi Franz
Heidi Franz is an American professional cyclist who races for St Michel-Preference Home-Auber93. A versatile rider capable of contributing across stage races and one-day events, Franz has spent much of her career racing on both sides of the Atlantic. Her results include victories at the Tour of the Gila, Joe Martin Stage Race and Egmont Cycling Race Women, alongside a growing amount of experience at the highest level of European women’s cycling.

Career overview
Franz developed through the North American racing scene before establishing herself internationally with Rally Cycling. She claimed a stage victory at the Tour of the Gila in 2019 and finished third overall at the Joe Martin Stage Race in 2021 before returning a year later to win a stage and finish second overall. Franz moved to Zaaf Cycling Team for 2023 before joining DNA Pro Cycling during the season, winning the Egmont Cycling Race Women and finishing sixth overall at the Ceratizit Festival Elsy Jacobs. After a season with Lifeplus Wahoo, she joined Cynisca Cycling for 2025 and won a stage of the Volta a Portugal Feminina on her way to third overall. Franz moved to French ProTeam St Michel-Preference Home-Auber93 for 2026, returning to a predominantly European programme.
