Daniek Hengeveld will be joining Ceratizit-WNT on a one-year contract after spending two years with dsm-firmenich PostNL. The 21-year-old Dutch cyclist started her stint with dsm-firmenich in 2023, following a two-year period riding for GT Krush Tunap.
In her debut season with Iwan Spekenbrink’s team, Hengeveld secured a seventh-place finish in the time trial at the Baloise Ladies Tour. This year, she improved to fifth place in the time trial at the Tour de Normandie Féminin. Additionally, in 2024, she completed the Vuelta España Femenina.
Hengeveld’s new team, Ceratizit-WNT currently includes one other Dutch rider, Mylène de Zoete. The key riders for the German team include Marta Lach and Cédrine Kerbaol. Kerbaol will continue with the team in 2025, while Lach will transfer to SD Worx-Protime.
