Career overview
Hengeveld has combined road racing with a strong endurance-track background, developing first with GT Krush Tunap Pro Cycling before stepping up to Team dsm-firmenich and Ceratizit Pro Cycling Team. On the track, she won Dutch elite titles in the individual pursuit and points race in 2021, and took under-23 European silver medals in the points race and omnium in 2022. Her road breakthrough came with victory in the prologue of the 2021 Belgrade GP Woman Tour, before a major step forward in 2025 when she won stage 1 of the Women’s Tour Down Under. Hengeveld joined Team Visma | Lease a Bike in 2026 on a contract running through 2028.
