Eliska Kvasnickova

Grand Est-Komugi-La Fabrique is thrilled to announce the addition of the promising Czech cyclist Eliska Kvasnickova to their team for the 2024 season. At just 18 years old, Kvasnickova has already shown remarkable potential, particularly in time trials at both the Junior and Under-23 European and World Championships.

Kvasnickova, who previously rode for SportRaces Cycling Team, has a track record of impressive performances, including a recent victory at the Czech National Championships in the time trial. She completed the 23-kilometre course in 31 minutes and 14 seconds, demonstrating her prowess in time trial events. This win builds on her previous achievements, which include a fourth-place finish in the time trial at the World Championships in Wollongong, Australia when she was still competing in the junior category. Additionally, at the national championship in Kovář’s time trial, she secured a win in the junior women’s time trial and took second place in the road race.

Reacting to her recent triumph, Kvasnickova expressed her delight and acknowledged the challenges she faced, especially due to the heat. Despite possibly pushing herself too hard initially, she was pleased with the outcome. Kristýna Burlová, another talented cyclist, trailed Kvasnickova by just four seconds.

With Kvasnickova’s signing, Grand Est-Komugi-La Fabrique strengthens its team with a young and promising talent, signalling a bright future for the squad in the upcoming season. The team warmly welcomed Kvasnickova, indicating their enthusiasm for her future contributions.
