Career overview
Stannard moved into professional road cycling after a triathlon background, having represented New Zealand at the 2014 Youth Olympic Games before later racing internationally as an Australian cyclist. She joined Valcar-Travel & Service in 2022 and took her clearest professional win at Euganissima Flandres, while also finishing 7th overall at the Giro della Toscana Femminile. In 2023, she raced for Israel-Premier Tech Roland and finished 2nd on a stage of the Vuelta Ciclista Andalucia Ruta Del Sol and 10th overall at the reVolta. Stannard then joined EF Education-Cannondale for 2024, gaining further Women’s WorldTour experience before stepping away from professional racing after that season.
