Career overview

Realini is one of the outstanding climbers in the women’s peloton, with a light build, sharp acceleration and a strong record in mountainous stage races. She won the Giro Mediterraneo in Rosa overall in 2022 before joining Trek-Segafredo in 2023, where she quickly became a WorldTour GC contender. Her breakthrough season included stage 6 and the mountains classification at La Vuelta Femenina, 3rd overall at the Giro d’Italia Donne, 3rd at La Flèche Wallonne Femmes and 3rd overall at the Tour de l’Avenir Femmes. Realini later finished 5th overall at the 2024 Tour de France Femmes, continued with Lidl-Trek through 2026 and remains one of Italy’s leading climbing talents.
