“The balance sheet shows three top-10s. The riders had a lot of fun in this event which was in a way for us a pool of experimentation with a set of different tactics put in place, we tried to make breaks on the flat, in the mountains. We tried to build the sprint lead-out with the sprinters, we changed the tactics for the sprint on a second stage, the girls worked to protect Amandine. Many things have been put in place for this race that will serve us to lay the foundations for next season and others to come. It’s only positive for us. The girls have taken progressive steps.
Amandine ranks 2nd among the best youngsters, she is 22nd in the general classification of this event, Sandra is 18th in a race which was dominated by the World-Tour teams. The level this year was very high on this International Women’s Tour of the Ardèche. What the team has been able to achieve here is very encouraging for the future, we have some interesting things in place for the future for the purpose of learning and progress “.
