“It will be the first Tour de France Women and we are all looking forward to playing it. The presentation this morning was grandiose and obviously that gives a foretaste of what the race will be. The course is fairly balanced and if I can put it that way I would say “there is a bit for everyone”. The big stages, however, will be concentrated at the end of the race with one very long, and two very hard at the end with very complicated passes. I think this 1st Tour de France Women will be very difficult from a sporting point of view, but the layout is “nice”. Perhaps a stopwatch is missing, but nevertheless this race announces a good game of cranks. This event will mark the HISTORY of women’s cycling it will be the “RACE” that we will all wait and prepare and it will be the meeting point for all the teams in 2022 “.

“The layout of this Women’s 1st Round promises to be grandiose, it will be a goal for all the girls in 2022, all the best in the world will be present. Starting from the Champs-Élysées after the Men’s Tour de France will add strength to their race. The proposed route, which will mainly go to the east of France, is fairly balanced, with a few sprint stages, but it remains a difficult competition with one road stage, besides the last ones in Alsace and in the very harsh Vosges. We will undoubtedly see the best in the world engage in a good battle. We obviously hope to participate in this first Tour de France Women which will mark the history of our sport, and therefore of course ours as well ”.
