On Saturday, June 25, the 19th Mediterranean Games began in Oran (Algeria). The Mediterranean Games are multi-sport competitions where athletes from the countries of the Mediterranean basin meet. The first edition took place in 1951, in Alexandria, Egypt. In 2022, the games expect 3,000 participants for their 19th edition. 26 nations will be present.
Like the Olympic Games, the Mediterranean Games bring together various sports. 36 will be on the program in 2022. Cycling is of course one of them.
India Grangier, will find the tricolour outfit she has already rubbed shoulders with before. It will be aligned on Saturday, July 2, on the road race.
The circuit will be the one that was used for the Oran Grand Prix (UCI Africa Tour 1.2), from 2014 to 2016.
