Julia Borgström
Julia Borgström is a Swedish professional cyclist who races for Hitec Products – Fluid Control. A versatile rider suited to hilly one-day races and stage racing, she first emerged as one of Sweden’s leading young talents before spending several seasons with the AG Insurance organisation. After stepping away from WorldTour racing at the end of 2025, Borgström rebuilt her programme in 2026 and returned to UCI Continental competition with Hitec Products – Fluid Control.

Career overview
Borgström progressed through Team Rytger before joining NXTG Racing in 2020 and remaining with the organisation as it developed into AG Insurance-Soudal. Her breakthrough season came in 2022, when she finished fifth overall at Gracia-Orlová, eighth at RideLondon Classique and 13th at Postnord Vårgårda, alongside silver in the Swedish national time-trial and bronze in the road race. After several seasons racing at WorldTour level, Borgström left AG Insurance at the end of 2025 and began 2026 with Belgian club team Kasseien Fiets Huis CT. She stepped back up to Continental level with Hitec Products – Fluid Control in May, subsequently finishing second in both the Swedish road race and time-trial championships and ninth at Navarra Women’s Elite Classics.
