Who taught you how to ride a bike & how old were you?

Well, I guess I learnt to ride my bike at an early age, but it wasn’t until I was 22 years old I started to train on the bike as a was competing in triathlon for 4 years until I had to stop with triathlon due to injuries! Then I started on the road bike and Hitec signed me for 2018 and now also 2019! [and now 2020 too]

What was your first ‘proper’ road bike & what colour was it?

My first proper road bike was a blue Specialized Tarmac bike.

What’s the most important piece of kit/advice that has helped boost your performance?

For me, the most important thing to keep me motivated is to also have fun and try new things/ roads during training! I also race some MTB races and do some training on paths in the forest to have fun!

What’s your favourite routes/places to ride?

My favourite routes are in the south of Norway or in the mountains in the middle of Norway where I come from!

What tips do you have to keep the love of cycling going amidst all the training?

Here I like to train a lot on gravel! As long as I keep doing a lot of different training, and do a lot of local races when I’m not travelling with my team to keep up my motivation. I also like to run and go skiing during the season.

What experiences are still to do on your cycling ‘bucket list’?

I would really like to race Strade Bianche sometime, so that is a race I have never tried and would really like to do! I would also like to do the Giro Rosa some time too.
