Katrine Aalerud

Katrine Aalerud is a Norwegian professional cyclist who races for Uno-X Mobility. A strong climber and time-trialist, she has developed into one of Norway’s leading stage racers through consistent performances in mountainous WorldTour events. Aalerud has won multiple Norwegian national time-trial titles, claimed overall victory at the Vuelta Ciclista Andalucía and represented Norway at the Olympic Games and World Championships.

Career overview

Aalerud joined Hitec Products in 2017 before spending two seasons with Team Virtu Cycling and moving to Movistar Team in 2020. She developed into a consistent WorldTour stage racer, finishing third overall at Setmana Ciclista Valenciana in 2021 and fifth at Vuelta a Burgos. Her biggest stage-racing success came with overall victory at the 2023 Vuelta Ciclista Andalucía. Aalerud joined Uno-X Mobility in 2024 and finished third overall at the Volta Ciclista a Catalunya Femenina that season. She has also become Norway’s dominant time-trialist, winning five national titles through 2026, and finished fifth in the individual time-trial at the 2025 World Championships.
