Lieke Nooijen

Lieke Nooijen is a Dutch professional cyclist who races for Visma | Lease a Bike. A powerful all-rounder with strong time-trial ability and a fast finish, she has developed into one of the team’s most versatile young riders. Nooijen became Dutch national road race champion in 2026 and also finished second in the Tour de France Femmes individual time-trial, building on earlier victories at the Princess Anna Vasa Tour and Egmont Cycling Race.

Career overview

Nooijen emerged internationally by winning bronze in the junior road race at the 2019 World Championships before joining Parkhotel Valkenburg in 2021. She claimed the Argenta Classic in 2023 and moved to Visma | Lease a Bike the following season, immediately winning the Princess Anna Vasa Tour overall and Egmont Cycling Race. Her progress accelerated in 2026 when she finished third at Dwars door Vlaanderen before becoming Dutch elite road race champion. Nooijen then produced one of the strongest performances of her career at the Tour de France Femmes, finishing second in the Dijon individual time-trial. Her combination of power, speed and ability against the clock gives her options across Classics, stage races and time-trials.
