Burquier emerged as one of France’s leading young mountain bike riders by winning both the junior cross-country World and European Championships in 2021. She stepped directly into the under-23 ranks in 2022 and dominated the season, becoming world champion in Les Gets and winning the overall under-23 World Cup after taking five rounds.
