Liv AlUla Jayco add Mikayla Harvey to 2027 climbing group

Liv AlUla Jayco have added New Zealand climber Mikayla Harvey to their 2027 roster, bringing the 28-year-old across from Team SD Worx-Protime for the next stage of her career.

Harvey has spent the past two seasons with SD Worx-Protime, having joined the Dutch team on a two-year deal ahead of 2025. The move to Liv AlUla Jayco gives the Australian-registered squad another proven climber with Grand Tour experience as it continues shaping its 2027 line-up.

Harvey moves on after two seasons with SD Worx-Protime

Harvey joined Team SD Worx-Protime ahead of the 2025 season after two years with UAE Team ADQ. At the time, the move was framed around helping her return towards the climbing level that had made her one of the most promising young stage racers in the peloton.

Her strongest earlier Grand Tour result came at the 2020 Giro Rosa, where she finished fifth overall and won the young rider classification. That performance established Harvey as a genuine general classification prospect, while subsequent seasons have added experience across the Women’s WorldTour and major stage races.

Liv AlUla Jayco add another climbing option for 2027

The GreenEDGE organisation described Harvey as a talented climber when confirming her place on the 2027 roster. Her profile gives Liv AlUla Jayco another rider capable of supporting a stage-race leader while also taking opportunities of her own on mountainous terrain.

Harvey also brings considerable experience despite still being in her late twenties. Since turning professional she has raced for Team Illuminate, Bigla, Équipe Paule Ka, Canyon SRAM, UAE Team ADQ and SD Worx-Protime, building a career that has repeatedly centred on climbing and stage racing.

A return to an Australian-linked set-up

For the New Zealander, the move also takes her into the Australian GreenEDGE structure for the first time. Liv AlUla Jayco have increasingly built around a mixture of experienced international riders and younger talent, with Harvey adding depth to the climbing group for 2027.

Her arrival gives the team a rider who has already shown she can compete near the front of major stage races when at her best, while the move offers Harvey another fresh environment after two seasons inside the powerful SD Worx-Protime set-up.
