The 2025 GP Oetingen is back as an early-season Belgian one-day race, featuring punchy climbs, cobbled sectors, and a fast finish. Last year, Lorena Wiebes sprinted to victory for the second time, continuing the trend of bunch finishes. However, the 2023 edition saw a rare breakaway win for Simone Boilard after heavy snow forced a rescheduled summer race.
Despite being a relatively young event, first held in 2021, GP Oetingen has gained a reputation as a deceptively tough race. The 127.9km course starts in Sint-Pieters-Leeuw before heading towards Oetingen, where riders will tackle six laps of the final circuit. This includes the Congoberg, Rensberg, and the Zavelberg—a 700m climb averaging 4% that could decide the race less than 3km from the finish.
With cobbles and climbs shaping the race, positioning will be key. Expect a battle between sprinters looking to hold on and late attackers trying to break clear. Stay on this page for live updates as the action unfolds.
