Widely regarded as the leading pure sprinter in the women’s peloton, she combines exceptional finishing speed with enough strength to win demanding one-day races and Classics. Wiebes has collected more than 100 professional victories, including Milano-Sanremo Donne, Gent-Wevelgem, Ronde van Drenthe and Classic Brugge-De Panne, alongside multiple stages at the Tour de France Femmes and Giro d’Italia Women.

Career overview

Wiebes turned professional with Parkhotel Valkenburg in 2018 and quickly established herself as the dominant sprinter of her generation. She became Dutch road race champion in 2019 before moving to Team Sunweb during 2020 and later Team DSM, where she won European road race gold and the opening stage of the inaugural Tour de France Femmes in 2022. Wiebes joined Team SD Worx in 2023 and broadened her palmarès beyond bunch sprints, winning Ronde van Drenthe, Gent-Wevelgem, Classic Brugge-De Panne and Milano-Sanremo Donne.
