“On arrival, we thought we were coming in for fourth place so Auber put a train to take Valentine Fortin who won. We realised once we got 300m from the line, that the 3 girls in front were looking at each other so we caught up with them. Valentine started the sprint, I got stuck in the barriers a bit and I finished second.

It feels good to make a podium! Since the start of the year I have been doing big races so mentally I was slapping myself every weekend.
