My first road bike was a shiny white, 26″ inch, Focus.
What’s your favourite routes/places to ride?
My favourite place to ride is Schoorl. That’s a dune reserve with lots of MTB tracks and cycle paths near to home.

Diversity. I train in different disciplines to keep it fun. Road, track and mountain biking.

What experiences are still to do on your cycling ‘bucket list’?
Strade Bianche and La Course (both of which I will ride this season if everything goes to plan) and the Elite World Championships on the road.
