Matilda Raynolds

Matilda Raynolds is an Australian cyclist who competes primarily in gravel racing after a long career on the road. A powerful rider with a strong sprint, she raced at UCI level with Team Bridgelane and produced some of her best results in the Australian summer, including third on a stage of the Women’s Tour Down Under. Raynolds also finished second in the 2023 Oceania road race championship before increasingly shifting her focus towards gravel.

Career overview

Raynolds became a prominent rider on the Australian domestic circuit with Specialized Women’s Racing and finished third on the opening stage of the 2020 Women’s Tour Down Under behind Chloe Hosking and Lotta Henttala. After returning to international competition with Restore Cycling, she raced in Belgium with Keukens Redant and finished second in the 2023 Oceania road championship. Raynolds joined Team Bridgelane for 2024, placing eighth at the Oceania Championships and racing the Tour Down Under and several European one-day events. She subsequently shifted towards gravel racing and remained active in 2026, finishing seventh at RADL GRVL, third at Seven and fourth at The Devils Cardigan.
