Maurène Trégouët will join Tenvels Le Dévoluy for the 2027 season as the French team continues to build towards its planned move into the UCI Continental ranks.
The 22-year-old French rider arrives after spending 2026 with O’Shea Red Chilli Bikes, following three seasons in the Arkéa structure. Tenvels have identified Trégouët as a sprinter-puncheur who can handle technical, nervous finishes as well as harder one-day races.
For Trégouët, the move also brings her back into a French project after a year racing with a British team. ProCyclingUK previously covered her move to O’Shea Red Chilli Bikes after the collapse of Arkéa-B&B Hotels at the end of 2025.
Trégouët brings WorldTour experience to Tenvels Le Dévoluy
Trégouët turned professional in 2023 with Arkéa after a strong junior career that included victory at the Grand Prix de Plouay, second place in the French junior road championships and a national title in the points race on the track.
She remained with the team through its Arkéa-B&B Hotels identity in 2024 and 2025, gaining experience at some of the biggest races on the women’s calendar. Her 2025 programme included the Tour de France Femmes, Vuelta España Femenina and Paris-Roubaix Femmes, as well as several spring Classics.
Her 2024 season also included second place on a stage of the Volta a Portugal Feminina and 10th overall, results that underline why Tenvels see her as more than a straightforward sprinter.
The team said Trégouët adds a rider profile that was missing from the developing squad.
“Maurène has already raced the biggest events in the world. She arrives with a real professional culture, a sprinter-puncheur profile that we were missing and the desire to build something here in Le Dévoluy,” Tenvels Le Dévoluy said.
Tenvels continue 2027 recruitment
Trégouët is the latest addition to a team that is trying to step up its level for 2027. Tenvels Le Dévoluy are currently a French Division Nationale 1 team and have applied for UCI Continental status for next season.
The project is based around the Dévoluy massif in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region, with the team using the area as both a sporting base and an altitude-training environment. The structure is backed by Tenvels, the local territory and regional authorities, with the stated aim of developing and retaining female talent.
Earlier this month, the team also confirmed Émilie Fortin for 2027, another signing aimed at strengthening the squad before its proposed move to Continental level.
Trégouët said the direction of the project was a major reason for choosing the team.
“I wanted to join a project that makes sense, a group that is growing and a region that lives and breathes cycling. Tenvels Le Dévoluy gives me that for 2027. I can’t wait to wear these colours and chase results with the group.”
A new French base after a year in Britain
Trégouët’s move gives her another reset after two seasons of upheaval. She had originally extended with Arkéa before the women’s project disappeared, forcing her to find a new team for 2026. O’Shea Red Chilli Bikes provided that opportunity and kept her racing internationally.
Tenvels now offers a different route: a French-based programme trying to grow into the Continental peloton, with room for Trégouët to take on greater responsibility in races that suit her finishing speed and ability over rolling terrain.
