Mieke Docx joins Minimax Cycling Team for 2027 in dual racing and team role

Mieke Docx will join Minimax Cycling Team for the 2027 season, moving across from DAS-Hutchinson as the Belgian rider starts a new chapter both on and off the bike.

The 30-year-old Belgian rider will race for Minimax next year and will also take on a role working for the team, giving the move an unusual dual purpose beyond her place in the 2027 roster.

Docx moves on after one season with DAS-Hutchinson

Docx joined DAS-Hutchinson ahead of the 2026 season after several years racing at Continental and WorldTour level, bringing experience from teams including Lotto Soudal Ladies and Lotto Dstny Ladies.

Her move for 2027 comes with DAS-Hutchinson set to close at the end of the current season, leaving its riders looking for new opportunities across the women’s peloton.

Minimax confirmed Docx as part of its 2027 line-up and said she will combine racing with work for the organisation. The team described the arrangement as a new chapter for both sides, with Docx joining a project that continues to expand its sporting structure.

Experience added to Minimax’s 2027 roster

Docx gives Minimax an experienced rider who has spent much of her career in the Belgian classics and harder one-day races. She has also shown a willingness to race aggressively, including attacking late at Classic Brugge-De Panne earlier in her career.

The transfer also keeps her in the professional peloton as Minimax continues building towards 2027. Her off-bike role should give the team an additional layer of continuity, with Docx contributing to the organisation as well as its race programme.
