Mieke Kröger
Mieke Kröger is a German cyclist who competes across track, road and gravel disciplines. One of the outstanding pursuit riders of her generation, she was part of Germany’s Olympic gold medal-winning team pursuit squad in Tokyo and has also built an accomplished road career around her strength against the clock.

Career overview
Kröger combined road and track racing throughout much of her career, becoming German road race champion in 2016 and winning the national time-trial title in 2015, 2023 and 2024. She won the Lotto Belgium Tour overall in 2019 and finished fourth in the World Championship time-trial in 2014. Her greatest success has come on the track, where she formed part of the German quartet that won Olympic team pursuit gold at Tokyo 2020 and the world title later in 2021. Kröger stepped away from professional road racing after the 2023 season but continued competing internationally on the track, finishing sixth with Germany in the team pursuit at the Paris Olympics. She remained active afterwards, winning European Championship medals on the track and increasingly competing in gravel events.
