After a crash in the second stage ruined the chances for a good result, one day later Tereza Neumanova finished inside the top-10.
The third day of the Women`s Tour started with bad news. Canadian champion Alison Jackson could not take the start as she was feeling ill. With four riders Liv Racing Xstra started the stage with several hills. The stage was animated by one rider, which was accompanied by two other riders later on. On the final climb the peloton splitted, but eventually a group of almost 50 riders sprinted for the win. Tereza Neumanova was well positioned for the final sprint and finished eight.
The Czech champion was satisfied with this result. “It was a harder stage then the last days. This type of parcours fits me well. I keep making progress on the climbs and that is a nice feeling. In the finale we were with two riders, but we managed to position me well before the final corner. I am happy with my top-10 spot today”, Neumanova told after the stage.
