Q&A with Liane Lippert

This month we asked you on our social media channels if you had any questions for Liane Lippert. After a busy classics campaign, Liane sat down to answer five of them!

Q: What is your favourite race?

A: I really like the Ardennes classics. The short and steep climbs suit me really well and I have achieved some nice results there. In particular I really racing Amstel Gold Race and Liรจge-Bastogne-Liรจge.

Q: What is your favourite post ride meal?

A: After a hard day in the saddle, I like salmon with some carbs, usually rice or pasta.

Q: What is your favourite ice cream flavour?

A: Thats a difficult one, but I would say Pistachio!

Q: What classic do you want to win most?

A: There are a few races that I would love to win. But if I had to choose one, I would say the Ronde van Vlaanderen. Itโ€™s one of the biggest races in cycling, has a lot of history, iconic climbs and amazing crowds at the side of the road. Itโ€™s a special race and Iโ€™d love to win there one day.

Q: Would you prefer races to start in the morning or in the afternoon?

A: Personally, I like to sleep a bit longer and have a nice breakfast thatโ€™s not too early in the day. My ideal start would be around 12h00, with a breakfast around 9h00.
