On 8th May 2025, Brittany will welcome a new professional women’s race with the Pointe du Raz Ladies Classic. After two editions as an amateur event, the race steps up to the professional level this year and promises a strong field. This first professional edition of the Pointe du Raz Ladies Classic is part of a growing women’s racing calendar in Brittany, with three major events scheduled in the coming months. It’s also the region where the 2025 Tour de France Femmes will get underway.
A high-level peloton for the first pro edition
A total of 27 teams will take the start in Plouhinec for a 140 km race, featuring multiple cobbled sectors—a unique feature in France. Six WorldTour teams are set to headline the event:
- FDJ-Suez
- UAE Team ADQ
- Uno-X Mobility
- Human Powered Health
- Ceratizit
- Roland
Notably, Demi Vollering is expected to be part of the FDJ-Suez line-up, adding further prestige to the race this year.
Strong French presence in the line-up
Alongside the WorldTour teams, several French ProTeams will also be at the start: Arkéa-B&B Hotels, Winspace, Cofidis and St Michel-Preference Home-Auber 93. Among them, Elyne Roussel of St Michel-Preference Home-Auber 93, who is an ambassador for the event, will be on the start line. A Brittany regional team is also confirmed but will not be racing under the Breizh Ladies banner.
