Strong start in Bloeizone Fryslân Tour

The Bloeizone Fryslân Tour started with an individual time trial over 14,4 km today. Liv Racing Xstra started strong with two riders in the top-20.

For the first time this year there was an individual time trial scheduled for our riders. In Surhuisterveen Alison Jackson powered to a 14th place in her Canadian champion jersey with an average speed of 43,67 km/h. Team mate Quinty Ton was only 5 seconds slower and finished in an 18th place.

“I was really excited to race in my Canadian national time trial champion suit. I finished as top Canadian and also the result for the team was good. So this gives me and the team confidence for what will come up next”, Jackson said.
