The Thüringen Ladies Tour is another race with a long storied history in the women's peloton but probably without the top-drawer race level that would normally bring. Hosted since 1986, it has never made it to the highest level of the women's cycling calendar, although moves are being made to change that now. The Festival Elsy Jacobs is a long-running women's race that is the high point of the calendar in Luxembourg. First held in 2008, it began life as a one-day race won by Italian Monia Bacaille. It stayed that way for a few years before growing in 2012 to a three-day format that always started off with a prologue. That shifted the balance to riders who were strong against the clock

It's a short history for the Paris Roubaix Femmes as the race has only been held since 2021. Originally earmarked for 2020, that edition to be held in the Autumn was postponed as the pandemic took hold again. Eventually moved into 2021, the first year saw a long-range move from Lizzie Deignan who attacked before the cobbles started to ensure a strong lead position on the very muddy cobbled sectors that year.

A Women's Tour of Flanders goes back to 2004, where the race immediately joined the top-level Road World Cup. From there, it's pretty much been a who's who of women's cycling on the winner's list. The race has developed over the years and recently has become much more similar to the men's edition.
