Career overview
Pidcock built his reputation across cyclocross and mountain biking before becoming a leading road rider. He won Olympic cross-country mountain bike gold in Tokyo and Paris, while his road palmarès includes the 2022 Tour de France stage to Alpe d’Huez, Strade Bianche in 2023 and Amstel Gold Race in 2024. After leaving Ineos Grenadiers for Q36.5 ahead of 2025, he finished third overall at the Vuelta a España, his first Grand Tour podium. In 2026 he returned to the Tour de France and finished ninth overall, adding another top-10 to his stage-racing record. His strengths on steep climbs, technical descents and punchy one-day courses continue to make him effective across a wide range of races.
