Who taught you how to ride a bike & how old were you?

I began cycling at the age of 5 thanks to my babysitter.

What was your first ‘proper’ road bike & what colour was it?

My first bike was red, it was the smallest of my club but it was not a bike with a brand name.

What’s the most important piece of kit/advice that has helped boost your performance?

My biggest advice is to always believe in yourself even if you think that it’s over.

What’s your favourite routes/places to ride?

I’d like to ride between mountains and sea. The south of France is great for this with places like Nice or where I live around Marseille.

What tips do you have to keep the love of cycling going amidst all the training?

What I do to keep me motivated is to change my training roads to get some real pleasure when I ride.

What experiences are still to do on your cycling ‘bucket list’?

I would really enjoy doing the biggest stages races in the long term future. In the short term, it will be to race all the classics which are the races that suit me the best.
