Lauren Kitchen (Retired)
Lauren Kitchen is a retired Australian cyclist who spent more than a decade racing professionally in Europe. A versatile one-day rider with a strong sprint and good positioning, she was particularly effective in fast Classics and selective races. Kitchen collected several international victories during her career, including wins at the Ronde van Overijssel and Grand Prix de Dottignies, while also representing Australia at World Championships and the Commonwealth Games before retiring in 2021.

Career overview
Kitchen developed through the Australian system before establishing herself in the European professional peloton. She raced for teams including Rabo Women, Wiggle Honda and Hitec Products, producing her strongest run of individual results during the middle of the 2010s. Kitchen won the Ronde van Overijssel and Grand Prix de Dottignies in 2015 and also claimed a stage of the Tour of Zhoushan Island. After a season with WM3 Pro Cycling, she joined FDJ Nouvelle Aquitaine Futuroscope and became an experienced road captain and Classics rider for the French team. Kitchen represented Australia at multiple World Championships and finished fifth in the road race at the 2014 Commonwealth Games. She retired from professional cycling in 2021.
