Career overview
Gareeva was one of the standout junior riders of her generation, winning the European junior road race title in 2018 before taking the junior world time-trial title in Yorkshire in 2019. She also won Russian junior road race and time-trial titles before stepping into elite racing with Cogeas Mettler. Her early professional results included podium finishes at Turkish one-day races in 2020 and top-five placings in Russian national championship events. Gareeva later served a suspension after missed anti-doping controls, before returning to racing with Zhiraf Guerciotti Selle Italia and Zhiraf Pagliaccia.
