Ilse Pluimers
Ilse Pluimers is a Dutch professional cyclist who races for AG Insurance-Soudal Team. A strong one-day racer who is particularly well suited to fast, selective races, Pluimers emerged as one of the Netherlands’ leading young talents after winning European road titles at both junior and under-23 level. She has since developed considerable experience in the Women’s WorldTour, combining a support role with increasingly consistent results of her own in the spring Classics.

Career overview
Pluimers established herself as an outstanding young prospect by winning the junior road race at the 2019 European Championships before turning professional with NXTG Racing. She made her Tour de France Femmes debut in 2022 and added another major championship victory in 2023, becoming European under-23 road race champion. Pluimers remained with the organisation as it developed into AG Insurance-Soudal and became a regular at Women’s WorldTour level. Her progress has been particularly evident in the Classics, with sixth at the 2024 Antwerp Port Epic followed by ninth at Omloop Het Nieuwsblad, sixth at Nokere Koerse and fourth at Dwars door het Hageland in 2025. She continued that consistency in 2026 with fourth-place finishes at GP Oetingen and Festival Elsy Jacobs à Garnich.
